Tome Of Town Portal

It’s a fanciful idea to go back to town only when a waypoint shows up. The game throws so much gear at the player that it is foolish to not make at least a few stops to sell the most expensive gear. Finding the Monastery Barracks is a significant journey with lots of gear on the way. Buying a Tome of Town Portal will save eighteen inventory slots when factoring in the twenty scrolls that it can hold.
Tome of Identify

Like the last entry, this will save another eighteen inventory spaces to fill up with more important loot. The Scrolls of Identify are handy to have in the field because, although Deckard Cain will identify magic items for free, he can’t accompany the character into battle as they uncover the secret of the Cairn Stones. This tome is a compact way of letting players know whether to equip, stash, or toss an item right away.
Repairs
Returns all equipment to maximum durability
Having an items break in the field can happen at the worst times. During a boss fight, there is nothing worse. Especially early on in the story, most gear has extremely small amounts of durability, breaking after a few minutes of active combat. Make a habit of repairing between each journey.

Buying almost all equipment is a foolish idea anytime before max level because it will quickly be outdated and replaced with better gear almost instantly. However, ammunition like arrows and bolts do not have upgrades, so the level one version is as good as any. Always have an extra quiver ready to go; it’s shocking how many arrows an elite mob with physical resistance will eat up.
Gambling
Gives players a chance at winning the best gear in the game
Aside from the Runewords, which are crafted, the best gear in the game is found randomly, either dropped from monsters or looted from chests. This is a remarkably inefficient way to “farm” for gear. Instead, take the gold and gamble it away. It’s often not anything except a normal magic item, but there is a chance of getting something very special. Warning: This gear is dependent on player level, so consider waiting until max level first.
