Deus Ex is a long-running series taking place in a dystopian future, with Human Revolution releasing in 2013 and Mankind Divided releasing more recently in 2016. Mankind Divided isn’t the direct sequel to the former, with one other major Deus Ex game releasing in between during 2013, but it is the most recent game in the franchise.

For those unsure, “DRM free” simply means “without digital rights management,” meaning that there’s nothing stopping players from installing and running the game once purchased, no activation or online connection required to play. And not only are both games now DRM free, but they’re also on sale–although not permanently. Square Enix is currently having a massive sale in which both games are marked 85% off; that means Mankind Divided is selling for $4.49 right now, and Human Revolution for a measly $2.99.
Basically, if anyone out there has wanted to get into Deux Ex but never taken the time, now would be a smart time to do so. And with the stay-at-home orders still in effect, there’s plenty of time to play them too.
Deus Ex: Human Revolution and Deus Ex: Mankind Divided are both available for PC; the former is also available for previous-gen consoles and the latter is available for current-gen consoles.
